Website design for photographers

Photographer websites that let the work book the job.

A fast, beautiful portfolio, clear packages and easy inquiries, built around a client choosing who to hire.

What a photographer’s site is for

Clients hire a photographer on the work. They want to see your best images, get a sense of what it costs and reach you without friction. Every page is built to get out of your photos’ way.

  • Your images, full width
  • Fast, even with big photos
  • Inquiries in two taps
  • No popups in the way

Local search

Be the one people find first.

When someone nearby searches for what you do on their phone, you want to be in that short list. We build the pieces search engines look for:

  • A local page for each town or area you serve
  • Business structured data: hours, services, contact and directions
  • A tidy Google Business Profile and consistent listings, guided by us
  • Fast, mobile-friendly pages, built for someone deciding on the fly
How local visibility works

The job

Six jobs your website has to do.

01

Let the work lead

Big, full-width images and a portfolio organised the way clients shop: weddings, families, portraits, commercial.

02

Load fast anyway

Large photos, served properly, so the portfolio feels instant on a phone, not like a slideshow loading.

03

Give a sense of price

Packages or starting prices, so the right clients reach out and the wrong ones don’t waste your time.

04

Make inquiries easy

An inquiry form that asks for the date, the type of shoot and the location, so you can reply with a real answer.

05

Get found nearby

Local pages and the structured data search engines use to understand where you shoot.

06

Update it yourself

New galleries and favourite shots are quick to add after every session.

02 · INQUIRIES

Inquiries you can answer in one reply.

The form asks for the date, the type of shoot and the location, so every inquiry arrives with what you need to check availability and quote.

  • An inquiry form built for photographers
  • Date, location and type of shoot
  • Inquiries that land in your inbox, not a void

03 · PACKAGES

Clear packages, better clients.

Starting prices or packages, laid out simply, so clients self-select and your inbox fills with people who are ready to book.

  • Packages or starting prices
  • What’s included, clearly listed
  • Reviews from past clients

Questions

Photography website questions.

How much does it cost?

Most photographers fit our Basic ($1,500) or Startup ($3,000) package. Startup includes local search pages. Payment plans are available, so setup fees can be split into monthly payments.

Will big photos slow the site down?

Not if they’re served properly. We optimise every image so the portfolio stays sharp and fast, even on a phone.

Can we add new galleries ourselves?

Yes. New sessions and favourite shots are quick to add, so your best recent work is always up front.

Should we show prices?

We recommend at least starting prices or packages. They help the right clients reach out and save you time on the wrong ones.

Do you write the copy?

Yes. We can write the copy around your work, your style and how you like to work with clients.

What’s a local page, and do we need one?

A local page targets people searching in a specific area, like “wedding photographer Muskoka.” It helps you get found where you actually shoot.
